About
Range Studio is a small architectural studio, working across the UK from the Scottish Borders and Edinburgh. Founded by award winning RIBA, ARB and RIAS registered architect Kathleen Hallquist (nee Hodge) in 2021, the practice portfolio has rapidly grown to encompass a range of design work including an Innovation Centre for a Scottish University, sustainability led projects, masterplan studies for new and existing farm steadings, feasibility studies for luxury holiday homes, new build houses and alterations and extensions to a range of scales and types of properties including listed buildings. The practice collaborates with both clients and other consultants to create contemporary designs that are tailored to a client's needs, project type, scale and specific site context and aim to reflect their aspirations and personalities. Range Studio love to hear and interpret a story – whether it’s about a building’s past or a client’s intentions for the building’s future.
